The Herschelstraat is a nice street in Watergraafsmeer. Parking in front of the door is possible, there is currently a waiting period of three months for a parking permit (source: Municipality of Amsterdam website). The popular neighborhood offers a quiet living environment where children can grow up in a safe neighborhood with various facilities. The petting zoo, parks and good schools and childcare can be found nearby. The many shops on Middenweg, Oostpoort and Christiaan Huygensplein are just around the corner. Bar Wisse, Elsa's Café, Bar-restaurant 1900 and Café Cliché are just a few hotspots that can be found a short distance away. Within 10 minutes by bike you will be at Beukenplein with trendy catering establishments. This is an ideal neighborhood with lots of greenery, Frankendael park (with restaurants Merkelbach and de Kas), the Oosterpark and the Flevopark around the corner. The accessibility is ideal: Science Park, Amstel and Muiderpoort train stations are reachable within 5 to 10 minutes by bike and tram and bus stops are around the corner.
